“To Will and the team at Vorotek – a huge thank you for supporting us in a year when we needed it the most. And what brilliant support it was – that wonderful gift of Vorotek headlights!

And I can tell you that the O-scopes are earning their keep – employed at multiple sites. Two are currently used at the AEC Phnom Penh clinics; one is housed at AEC Siem Reap, another scope is used in the clinic in Kratie province and the fifth is a dedicated instrument for use at outreach level (in the provinces of Kep, Kampot, Preah Sihanouk, Pursat and Kampong Chhnang as well as Kien Khlang Leprosy Rehabilitation Centre just outside Phom Penh).

All patients undergoing primary ear health care (examination /treatment) at these locations (collectively, ther

e were 17,369 patient consultations at these sites this year) are benefiting from these instruments.

And as the year comes to an end we’re looking ahead to 2021 – to high hopes, new challenges and grander schemes! Things are looking up!
